Second Edition
Over a span of six years, I expanded a prior photography project into a larger, more collaborative photobook to commemorate my high school basketball coach who passed away in 2016.
The book went on to encompass several basketball creatives and contributions through a large crowdfunding campaign, to then sold to hundreds of basketball enthusiasts far and wide.
All proceeds went towards Project Backboard, a nonprofit dedicated to turning public basketball courts into works of art for the community.
First Edition
My first print work was a compilation of basketball goals I captured around the world, ultimately published through the International Center of Photography in New York City. The work is a testament to the varying socioeconomic communities that form a common bond over the purity of the sport.
